Customized Solid Wood Cat Door with Window

Our cat Haru loves her new Mewcats door and took to using it almost immediately. We painted it to match the baseboard molding and added a different latch. It was a little tricky to install in the wall but the included template helps a lot and it turned out perfectly. We sent photos to extended family and they thought the door was both adorable and fun. One suggested decking it out at Christmas time with a little wreath and welcome mat. Now Haru can come and go as she pleases and it's a cute way to keep the dogs from going down to the basement and helping themselves to KitKat bars.

Our cats haven't been able to use it yet because we haven't moved into our new build, but the door itself is so cute and our carpenter was able to make fit perfectly.

So far so good! Cat door is actually bigger than what I thought which it’s perfect for my fatty orange mango cat 😻 I was worried he wasn’t going to fit. It’s absolutely cute , very nice quality , easy instructions to install

Looks great as I wanted to keep it level with the floor. Base of the door sits on the wall stud and matches the trim. I did not add the door yet as the cats now have full access to basement with the litter box.

Great cat door! Easy to install and works perfectly for my cat. The flap swings smoothly. My cat learned to use it right away, and now she has the freedom to go in and out without me opening the door every time. Sturdy, secure, and makes life much easier. Highly recommended!

Great for installing in interior doors. Works well for installing through walls. And the latching mechanism lasts for years, rather than the PetSafe latches, which I’ve had break, and wear down to the point that the cats could open the locks themselves.

Easy to install and I really like the locking function. This is a great option for bedrooms so the door can be closed at night but the cats can get in and out. I have cats ranging from the youngest/smallest at 6lbs up to my big boy at 20 lbs and they all fit just fine.
Cats used it immediately, they were curious of course. Happy with the quality of the wood and it’s pleasing to look at after installation. 👍🏻

A great cat door! It is easy to install and very well made. Took my cats a few days to figure out of the door. Their door swings freely. But once they adjusted to the need to give this one a bit of a push, they use it with ease. I bought this door for the larger size and it works nicely for my 14 lb. cats. The cats seem to enjoy the door and often just use it as a cat height window to the great outdoors.

This is as cute in person as it is online. So much better than the boring flap. Our cat goes through it easily and we love the look of it.

We had a different brand’s smaller cat door that “locks” in either of 3 settings but one of our 3 cats figured out through trial and error how to easily defeat the “lock” by pushing one side in while pulling the other side out, so it was useless. Replaced it with this one, which was a hassle, but this door the cat cannot defeat! Would highly recommend over the other types of cat doors.

I really like the shape and it’s super simple to install if you have the right tools.

My cat needed a door to their litter boxes that keeps the puppy out. I loved this. My cats are fit through just fine.

Instructions were very simple and helpful. However you will definitely need a jigsaw and drill to make things easier. This project cannot be done on the living room floor. If you cut on the outside of the template, you’ll still have about a half inch of wiggle room so don’t worry too much about the cut being perfect. This project took me around 30 minutes total!

Oh my gosh! This door is the cutest thing ever. I used the door to create a small. Fairy door inside inside the wall. It is big enough for a coloring book and crayons, crafts, and even some snacks. I plan on using this when my future grandkids come over it’s adorable! Super easy to install and very sturdy. I had a custom-made and it worked like a charm!!!

I just moved and had this cat door installed, and of the entire apartment, it's the thing I get the most compliments on. It is SO cute, my cats already like going through it, and it is beautifully constructed. Worth every penny and the wait for it to arrive.

Love these pet doors. They match our doors almost perfect. And now we can sleep with the door closed and the cats can let them selves in and out when they want. We have one on the basement door as well so the litter boxes are more enclosed. We have 2 litter boxes for 4 cats. They really help to contain the litter box smell. The cats were easy to train to use them with treats. Worth the money!

I love this cat door so much! It's a strong solid wood. We have two large GSD that tend to be a bit much for our cat when the rough house and we always accidently lock him in the bedroom. Now he can come and go without any worry he is trapped when the dogs get rough. Painted it myself just for added flare and fun but if you don't want to do that yourself the wood color options are just fine. Cutting your own hole is easy enough. I tapped the template they give you down and traced it onto the door and used a small hand saw to cut. Over all super pleased with this and it's super cute!

I got a pair of these doors for my mother. She has a small cat, and she fits perfectly. They were easy to install, and leave plenty of room for error. The door frame is much larger than the cutout so if you have any mistakes, it will be covered up anyways lol.
