Purchased this for ease of carrying two cats to the vet at the same time. I didn’t want to get the hard type carriers since I wanted to be hands-free. The carrier is nicely made, soft, yet durable. Lots of mesh for breathing and visibility on my cats. It’s roomy enough for both top and bottom. I’ve not tried the single section, but quite sure it’s spacious enough. There are pockets to hold items on the side, as well. I’m impressed by this carrier and felt the money was well spent. Please note that I have a tiny kitten and is small for her age. The other cat is also petite, so if you have bigger sized cats, it may not be ideal for the dual carrier.
I bought this for emergencies but the cats loved it so much they use it to sleep in it regularly. It’s quick and easy to use and most of the time I’ll find them in it which would be helpful in an emergency.
My cats love it! It took some getting used to, as one of my cats associates a cat carrier with going to the vet... but this one is great! You can take the midde part out and make it one giant backpack as well. My cats are normal sized 3 and 6 year olds - not overweight, not underweight. It was a little heavy with both cats, but nothing I didn't expect.
I have two male adult cats, and we were going on a road trip and I needed something that I could get out of the car with both cats and have my hands free. This was perfect. They don’t have space to roam in there, so it’s not something that I’d keep them inside for a very long period of time, but enough space for them to loaf and take a nap. I’d recommend!
Gorgeous!! It came quickly and as in the photo. Just going. Durable construction.
Me and my boys love this carrier. We get some many compliments on it. And for the price it’s great. So far it’s been sturdy and holding up but my boys weigh less then a pound so that may be why. I highly recommend this carrier
We got the two tier so I could bring my new bengal girl out. They both love it. It’s super comfortable too.
This backpack is gorgeous, much nicer than the other pet backpack I have, but the other backpack does have zipper locks. My ferrets can get through the zippers just by pushing their little noses in between the two zippers. I wish I had looked before purchasing, but still ultimately would have probably chosen this bag as it is very good quality. I’m going to look for zipper locks that aren’t too bulky or heavy to add to each zipper!
I didn’t like that my two 16-18 pound cats didn’t both fit in evenly, the bottom is definitely bigger and I got nervous that the top would cave in on the bottom since they are larger boys, my initial plan was using this for hurricane escape for 3 cats since one is only 5 pounds. Well In a pinch I did have to shove all 3 in, 2 on the bottom one on top, it worked for the situation I was in and I didn’t want to carry 3 cats in separate cases in an emergency. I love it for 2 cats but it’s just not quite enough space they seem hunched over and uncomfortable. I do prefer this over a hand carry case or a shoulder case for them. A lot of weight on your back but in a pinch you can have your arms free to carry other things. Would recommend for smaller cats
UPDATE I used this to take one cat to the vet so I separated the level so he could stand up straight and it literally caved in on him at the vet while he was waiting for pick up. My poor babe was in the backpack while it folded up on him. It’s not heavy but he did just have surgery and I did not anticipate it fall apart if you just only use it for one cat without the divider.
It is very well built and sturdy. I can take a puppy or small dog probably up to 10 lb. In each of the upper and lower compartments, or I can take one dog and a small bag in the other compartment, which really frees up your hands. The zippers are sturdy and easily grabbed. It is comfortable to wear and fits well. Strong thick mesh and fabric. Sturdy grab handles all around. I highly recommend this bag, it's great for the price. Easy open access on top and front.
